Miss Divine UK would have struggled to find a more beautiful setting to celebrate the final night of their beauty pageant competition. The New House Country Hotel stands proudly overlooking the dynamic city of Cardiff. The original period features are only enhanced by the gentle candle light as they welcome guests to the majestic 19th Century manor house.

A charming marquee sits in the hotel garden and it’s immediately evident why so many couples choose this venue as the perfect setting for their wedding ceremony. Tonight however, the hotel is hosting an entirely different celebration and we are overwhelmed by the number of guests who have turned up to see the next Miss Divine UK receive their crowns.

Stalls selling make up, hair and beauty products decorate the beautiful marquee and friendly traders are more than happy to share beauty tips and advice as the customers sample their exclusive products.

Having never attended a beauty pageant before, we weren’t really sure what to expect, but the organisers welcomed us with open arms and the evening’s entertainment did not fail to impress. This included a very talented dance show from Rhians Dancer‘s and a very powerful enjoyable performance from Yasmine.

The girls are all here for different reasons, but it is clear that this opportunity gives girls the chance to shine and increase their confidence. Maegan Beaton chose to brave the stage to help her overcome her own challenges:

I never thought I’d ever be on stage again.. for many reasons, but mainly due to struggling constantly with my mental health. But after months of improvement and feeling more confident than ever, I decided to take a leap of faith and enter Mrs. Divine UK. And I’m so glad that I did!

The contestants are filled with emotion as the winners receive their crowns, especially Megan Goldberger whose passion and excitement quickly fills the marquee.

OH. MY. GOD. I DID IT!

“OH. MY. GOD. I DID IT! I’m so pleased to say that you’re not getting rid of me yet and now have to put up with me for the whole year! Thank you for creating a fair and honest system that give us girls a platform to speak about what we care about the most. I am unbelievably honoured to be the first Miss Divine UK and cannot wait for the year you have planned for me” It is clear to see how much the event means to all of the girls involved.

These girls are beautiful inside and out and all work very hard for their chosen charities. Miss Divine UK is a beauty pageant with a difference, giving girls the opportunity to work together, increase their confidence and truly make a difference to the good causes they support. Megan Goldberger openly talks about the positive impact Miss Divine UK has had on her life:

Through making appearances I’m pleased to say that preparing for this pageant reduced my anxiety and got me out of the house to reconnect with friends and fellow pageant sisters. I mean this with my whole heart, I could not have done it without the team of support I had behind me.

The first Miss Divine UK event was run flawlessly by organisers and it’s hard to believe they haven’t been doing this for years. It was a faultless evening packed full of entertainment for everyone involved and it’s clear to see the enormous potential the event has for the future. We look forward to joining the girls next year in their search for the next Miss Divine UK.

Congratulations to all of the First winners of Miss Divine UK finals!
