Following on from the success of last years event Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Countryside and Landscape Service, in conjunction with Bedwas High School, Caerphilly Adventure Group, Ramblers Cymru and other partners, are once again throwing down a challenge to walkers of all abilities.
The main challenge is not for the faint hearted and will challenge most experienced hikers with a 22 mile trek called “The Ridgeway” but don’t be put off if you love the outdoors and want to set yourself a challenge however small. There are walks and hikes to suit people of all abilities and ages starting with a 1 mile scenic route along the banks of the Rhymney River.
The Caerphilly Challenge Series 2013 takes place on 11th May and you can find out more information or book a place on the event by going to The Countryside and Landscape Service website.
