At Lylac Ridge our 3 and 6 hour sessions give children aged 12-18 the opportunity to work alongside the team on a working farm.

Participants will get to learn about our animals, understand and identify their needs, and pitch in with the mucky work too!

Activities vary depending on the weather, but may include grooming our larger animals, spending time with the smaller ones, cleaning stables and shelters and maintaining clear pathways.

Participants will also receive an in-house certificate and a digital photograph with an animal of their choice.

We aim to group participants with others of similar age.

Our 3-hour sessions are great for 12-15 year olds, whereas those between 16-18 years old will love our 6-hour session.
