The River of Light Lantern workshops and parade is the perfect way to welcome Santa this Christmas. The River of Light is the longest running Christmas event organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council and returns annually to spread joy and festive cheer to residents and visitors alike.
River of Light Parade
The annual lantern parade will take place on Thursday 19th December at 6:30pm.
The parade will start from the Caerphilly Railway Station park & ride and then make its descent down to Caerphilly town, through Station Terrace, Cardiff Road, across St Fagans Street and to its finale on Crescent Road.
The free parade will finish with a beautiful fireworks display over the skies of Caerphilly Castle. Come along and enjoy a magical evening with the family, showing off your lantern as you prepare to welcome Santa.
