7 day Retreat – The “Lightness of Being” and The “Search for Security” with Samye Foundation Wales
7 DAY RETREAT : 22nd to 29th AUGUST 2016 Venue: BRONEIRION Llandinam, Powys, SY17 5DE The “Lightness of Being” and The “Search for Security” with DONAL CREEDON A beautiful venue in the heart of Wales The purpose of the Buddha Dharma is to awaken intelligence and compassion; to discover within us the natural lightness of being and to live in the world centred in that light. Although it is nameless we can call that light Avalokiteshvara, or Tara, or Vajrayogini or a thousand other names. What obstructs the light is habit, fear, the weight of the past and particularly ignorance. The endless search for psychological security is part of that movement. We will explore these issues and others through listening, contemplation and meditation in the light of Mahamudra teachings. We are very fortunate to have the much loved Donal Creedon come back to Wales to lead a 7 day retreat with us. Donal is a meditation teacher with many years experience, loved and deeply appreciated for his warmth, openness and sincerity. He has spent 12 years in retreat and was also a fellow of the Krishnamurti Foundation of India for 3 years. HOW TO BOOK & MORE DETAILS contact Karen: bookings@sfwales.org or tel: 02920 860054 Please see website for conditions to course participants: http://www.sfwales.org
